Our team is intimately familiar with northeast Florida, allowing us to manage the permitting phase with precision and efficiency. We work to complete the job accurately and in a timely manner.

Supervision of Construction

We work closely with the general contractor and subcontractors to ensure the construction process progresses efficiently and within budget. We work with the community and local officials to prevent as much interference as possible, while observing the needs of the people.


Bakkar Group team members use their extensive experience and knowledge to find the tenant that best fits each space. We strive to ensure that each property is well-maintained and attractive. The leasing team currently leases and manages commercial retail shopping centers in Clay, St. Johns and Duval counties.

The company’s portfolio consists of over 20 properties of primarily retail shopping centers located in small towns and major metropolitan markets of Northeast Florida. Property types of particular interest include community and neighborhood shopping centers, which provide daily essential services.

  1. Stabilized market-dominant, grocery-anchored properties with supply-side restrictions and strong demographics.
  2. Redevelopment opportunities offering added-value enhancements that could result from modifying the tenant mix, developing additional expansion space for existing or new tenants and developing out-parcels.
  3. Land appropriate for ground-up development of community and neighborhood shopping centers.
